Here at KPI, we are currently eight weeks into the re-launch of our Lets Play Fair programming. Our new Lets Play Fair curriculum encompasses all of our S.P.O.R.T.S principles from before (School, Physical Fitness, Opportunity, Respect, Teamwork, and Self-esteem) but adds particular emphasis on the core value of fair play.
To KPI, Fair Play includes:
- Respect
- Community
- Contribution
- Opportunity
- Moral courage
As an organization started by an Olympic athlete, it is our goal to teach the values of Olympism and build a program centered on fair play and all of its attributes.
In mid-August, we will host our first coaching clinic focused on fair play for our seventeen interested community members. During this clinic, we will all explore the attributes of fair play and begin to weave throughout our daily program. We have already noticed a difference in our students with our new program structure and look forward to witnessing additional positive transformation throughout the year!
