Chanda is a fighter both in and out of the ice hockey rink. To earn a Bronze Medal at the 2006 Winter Olympic Games takes exceptional mental and physical strength in and of itself, but to achieve this with temporal lobe epilepsy is a rare feat that Chanda successfully conquered. As a spokesperson for Epilepsy Therapy Project, Chanda is currently the Program Director for Newton Community Service Center and continues to share her inspiring story with others for Kids Play International.
