KPI invites you to join us in an Olympic Day service trip to our program site in Gatagara, Rwanda. This is an opportunity for you to come learn and take part in our Let’s Play Fair and All Girls United programs and celebrate Olympic Day with our entire Community! You will meet our coaches, KPI players and their families, see how sport promotes gender equity and learn about the Rwandan Genocide history and the resilience of these people to forgive and move forward in peace. And…. if you choose you can go trekking to see the famous Silverback Gorillas (a bucket list item!). And you get to do this all alongside a special delegation of Olympic Athletes and/or Professional Athletes. Kids are welcome! NOTE: You must be 15 or older to go Gorilla Trekking (Their rule not ours).

On this adventure we will immerse ourselves in Cambodia’s vibrant culture. This is an experience of a lifetime, as you learn how to share the Olympic values and fully participate with our Coaches and the players who are in our Let’s Play Fair, All Girls United and Play Fair Community Day weekly programs. Additionally you will visit the somber Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng Museum to better understand this country’s history of genocide along with visiting.the world famous archeological site of Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom and Ta Prohm. Lastly we will take a boat ride on the Tonle Sap river to see the floating fishing villages.
